Technical Skills

• Relevant industry experience in the field of Physical Design Implementation.
• Design experience in all aspects of physical Design.
• Proficient in P&R, Synthesis, STA, timing closure and Physical verification.
• Good experience in scripting, methodology, and flow development using Shell script, and TCL. Perl/Python is an added advantage.
•  Should be good at concepts like Synthesis, Low power concepts, floor plan, Placements, CTS. Route and Physical Verification.
• Strong in digital logic design, CMOS & strong analytical ability.
• Should have a good experience working on power intent convergence, Unified Power format (UPF), and power intent tools (e.g., CLP (Conformal Low Power), etc.).

Additional Skills:

• It is essential that the individual has good written and oral communication skills and is able to demonstrate good analysis, debugging and problem solving skills, and show high levels of initiative.
• Ability to work with multiple teams including Design, DFT, CAD, Physical Design, Layout teams etc.
• Should be able to mentor junior engineers in the team.
• Experience in working as part of a larger team and working towards project milestones and deadlines.
• Interviewing the candidates and evaluating their technical abilities.
